So this is my current project. It is a mix of action, platforming and puzzling, involving blocks. I usually remain pretty secretive until closer to release, and this time it won't be much different.
Screenshots of the game might make you believe different, but this is not a "metroidvania" type of game. Rather small stage-based with a "world map".
You play as a woman sent to a space colony that is home to a society of miners that are harvesting minerals from the planet the station orbits. She's there to see what the inhabitants are up to as they have not replied to messages sent to them for some time. She does find that they are very much alive, but what have they been doing all this time?
And then events occur that don't resemble Metroid at all, seriously.
The game features 640x480 resolution, as opposed to Noitu 2 having half that. Also, a lot of the graphics have been drawn by hand rather than pixelated, which is a fun practice for me.
