Games & Creations by Joakim Sandberg

Welcome to my site! Here I will collect links and downloads to the video games I have created, as well as art and other things of mine. If you have anything to ask me, or want to follow me more actively, check out the links to the right. Hope you will enjoy my work!

Games created by Joakim Sandberg (konjak) includes [Iconoclasts], a game now released since January 2018, and took almost 10 years to make, all alone. Check it out below! Other games people know me for are [Noitu Love 2: Devolution] and the short and silly fan game [Legend of Princess], both of which you can find on this site, as well as more projects.

I have been making little game projects for around 20 years at this point. Along the way I built up the ability to do many things that are involved with the medium. That includes coding, art, animation, sound and music. Some of my animation prowess has been used for freelance work on pixel art games. When I don't make games, my greatest passion is drawing. I always feel like I am getting better.

[2008] Arcade action, with a controller twist!

A century after the legendary boy Noitu Love saved the world from the evil Darns, they rise again, but in a chaos of time-bending mayhem! Now it's up to the new hero of the Peacekeepers, Xoda Rap, to save the world.

  • Unique pointer-controlled gameplay

  • Huge and inventive bosses

  • 7 levels packed with unique challenges and situations

  • 3 different difficulty settings

[2009] Legend of Princess

A parody fan game, taking inspiration from a particular game by some unknown company and making a single-level arcade interpretation of it. I am very happy with it! Have fun, even if you don't like the series, because this game plays nothing like it! It may run a little strange on newer versions of Windows.

[2007] Chalk

Chalk is about drawing lines across the dots on your enemies. Make what you draw with the mouse combine all the corners of a shape, or make enemies connect with their own bullets to damage them! It's kind of like a shoot-'em'up with crayons. I love the idea behind this one still, but one day I'd like to execute it better! It may run a little strange on newer versions of Windows.

[2006] Noitu Love and the Army of Grinning Darns

My first, finished game. Noitu Love is a kinda-wonky game at this point, but it's still precious to me, and Noitu Love 2 couldn't happen without it. It can be awkward to get it to run optimally. It's an action-platformer, but with much greater emphasis on platforming than its sequel.

[2006] Tripline

This game was a mere two-days-long experiment to see if I could make a puzzle game that would work on actual paper. It's kinda neat.

[2011] Herogest

This is "Herogest", a game concept I last worked on back in March of 2011. It was my one attempt at something procedurally generated and it didn't get very far before I decided a game much more demanding to make called Iconoclasts was a smarter thing to keep going on!

The idea of the levels were to seal as many of those enemy spawners as possible to unlock the end boss door. In this video only the "Dullahan" skeleton enemy appears from them. The enemies coming from those would be stronger and harder, and the not-working Succubus that is shown was another one of them. You would also collect generated treasures, and rescue people.

[2009] Solar Plexus

You play as Zaya as she travels to a space station trying to find out what happened to her friend. As she does you solve puzzles by moving blocks around, thanks to her suit made for cargo handling at space docks.

[2007] Ivory Springs

My original attempt at the Iconoclasts concept. This one was meant to be much more light-hearted and silly. This game's concept has been in my life for far too long... It may run wonky on newer Windows versions.

[2005] Mina of the Pirates

This was my first large-scale project that I actually got somewhere with. There are definitely hours worth of gameplay in the available download of the game, althought it's not the best, and may not run well for you. This doesn't even contain all the content made, but project files became hard to work with.
