(Sep. 7) - Yep, I'm terrible at finishing...
I'm sorry to say it, but it looks like I won't be finishing Solar Plexus, at least not in this iteration. I base this on the fact I haven't opened the file to work on it for what is now exactly a year.

I really regret doing it too, as I like the idea a lot, and had a whole lot of different "purple blocks" already made, but it's not my kind of game to work on. I really hated working on every aspect of it, I'm not sure why. I think it's the chore of building so many levels meticulously, whereas an action game like Noitu Love 2 has much more varied designs that constantly change and keep me motivated. I often go too big, and this game isn't really in the genre I'd play, were it not my own game. it would probably have fared better did I not make it on my own, too!
I will upload what I have for people to play. I might remake it all someday, but I wouldn't go back to an aged engine made in a different program by now. I'll still leave Solar Plexus in "Projects" for now.

Now, I have other projects and ideas I've been working on. I often go too big though... But I'd like to ask you guys to drop a comment anyway telling me what you'd like to see!
Thanks, and again, sorry...
EDIT: Please listen, people: I don't hate the game, I hated working on it. That makes a big difference.

I'd like to see Ivory Springs finished.
And you're really great at making good games.
That is all.
Got to level 2-1A and finished it. Is that all? Damn, I was really enjoying it :/ The second boss was freaking hard, too.

I can understand where you're coming from with the type of game. I got to the second level, and was getting annoyed at the controls. That said, I did love the art style, and I think your next game should use these characters and settings as they rock.
For some reason I kinda saw this coming, but oh well. Can't wait to see your next project.

Nothing to be ashamed of.
Maybe later you'll manage to give the right twist to the solar plexus concept. I can fully understand why you're not continuing it as it is now.
I hope you'll get over it quickly, so you can now fully concentrate on the next awesome Konjak game.
I got fed up with controls and quit. That being said though I still enjoyed the game. Though I'm not really a fan of this kind of game. Boss was great as usual.
I would like to suggest and action/adventure game, but I'm thinking shorter, level based games have a higher chance of completion. How about one big project and several smaller ones? Not to be focused on one thing and get bored.
Another outstanding game as always, don`t be so down on yourself :) Maybe you should try an approach like Cactus and create some smaller games that only take a week or so to make to get your creativity going again (not that it appears to be laking in this game.) The ideal game for you to make in my eyes would be a boss rush game, nothing but boss fights. Surely your tempted?

I really liked it! It's not really my type of game either, but it is well designed and pretty compelling the way the nature of the puzzles keep changing. I would have definitely played more if there were any. Did you give any thought to bringing on someone else for stage design? I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to find someone else who'd like to meticulously build levels like this.
My preference would be for something like Noitu Love 2 or Legend of Princess, those are exactly the type of games that I want to play and no one is really making them.
I think the problem is more like too many ideas, but picking the wrong ones.
And thanks, people! Many complain about the controls, and they are slippery.

WOW your games always amazing even you say it is bad. I try it I found it is so amazing I like the pixel art its so detailed and so amazing + the game mechanics is so smooth and nice the one thing I didnt like in solar game the way she shoots it doesnt look nice :) but overall amazing work I dlove it so much
